📜 House Rules — Thanks for Reading! 🙏 We want your stay to be relaxing and hassle-free, so we’ve put these simple rules in place to keep things smooth for everyone. Please respect our home and neighbors — we have a zero-tolerance policy on parties to protect the space and community. Early check-in or late check-out (up to 2 hours) may be available when possible for $50 each—just ask in advance! ⸻ 🔇 Quiet Hours: 10 PM – 7 AM Keep noise low during these times. We also ask to please keep outdoor activity to a minimum during quiet hours. Noise complaints from neighbors could result in a $250 fee. ⸻ 🚭 No Smoking Inside Smoking of any kind isn’t allowed indoors. You can smoke outside — just please dispose of your materials safely. A $500 fee applies if indoor smoking is detected. ⸻ 🎉 No Parties or Unauthorized Guests We’re serious about this: no parties or unapproved extra guests allowed. This includes: • More guests than booked (unless pre-approved) • Excessive trash, moved furniture, or damage • Loud noise or disruptive behavior Violations may lead to a $500 fee and immediate eviction without refund. ⸻ ⏳ Late Checkout $50 per 30 minutes late unless arranged beforehand. ⸻ 🔧 Damages You’ll be responsible for any repair or replacement costs from damages during your stay. 🐶 Dog-Friendly Stays Pet Fee: $100 Max dogs allowed: 2 🦴 Please clean up after your pet (inside & out). We have provided poop bags for your convenience. 🏠 No unattended anxious pets—if your pet might bark excessively or have accidents, please don’t leave them alone. 🛋️ Keep pets off furniture to avoid damage. 🚿 Excessive cleanup fees may apply for damage, excessive fur, or accidents, based on the cleaning team’s report. 💙 We LOVE hosting responsible pet owners and their furry friends! Thanks for keeping Capitol House comfy for everyone. 🏡🐾 ⸻ 🛁 Hot Tub Use & Safety Guidelines Feel free to enjoy the hot tub, but please follow these to keep it safe and working great for everyone: Opening & Closing: • Open cover halfway, enter, then open fully from inside • Close cover halfway before exiting, then fully after After Use: • Turn off jets and bubbles before closing cover (to avoid damage) • At stay’s end, set temp to 98°F if not using anymore Care Tips: • Adjust jet valves slowly; stop if stiff • Kids must be supervised • Rinse off before entering (no lotions, sunscreen, etc.) • No glass nearby • Don’t use if feeling unwell If water looks cloudy, foamy, or smells: • Stop use and contact host ASAP; tub may be unavailable until serviced Noise & Respect: • Keep voices and music down near the tub, especially during quiet hours • This is a quiet neighborhood, so please be mindful of neighbors’ peace • Noise monitors (no audio recording) alert us to loud disturbances • Continued noise issues may lead to warnings, fines, or early checkout without refund ⸻ Hot Tub Liability & Agreement By using the hot tub, you agree to: • Use it at your own risk • Understand risks like slipping, overheating, or illness • Accept that hosts aren’t responsible for injuries • Cover costs for any damage caused • Pay a $500 fee if the tub needs dumping/refilling due to negligence (vomit, debris, etc.) • Follow the rules or face fees, loss of hot tub access, or early checkout ⸻ Thanks for helping us keep Capitol House a welcoming, peaceful place for all guests! 😊🏡
